COVID-19 REOPENING PLAN

These policies have been established with much care and with the input of our staff, membership and community at large. The health and safety of our staff and clientele are top priority.

Under current provincial regulations, masks are not currently required before & after classes or for front desk staff. Clients & staff are of course welcome to continue wearing a mask if they are more comfortable doing so. HERE are the Ontario guidelines for mask wearing.

We are currently operating at 85% of our pre-pandemic studio capacity in order to allow for some distancing to be maintained. This currently means a maximum of 14 participants per class.

The maximum number of clients per OPEN GYM session is 3. There is a maximum of 1 person in the PT studio during OPEN GYM at a time.

During the warmer months the garage door, back door and windows will be left open, which allows for a lot of fresh air circulation. Our AC (with HEPA air filtration) and fans will be also be used as needed. As it gets cooler out, the heat will be turned up enough that the windows can be open for fresh air flow during class while still maintaining an appropriate indoor temperature. We have also purchased an additional HEPA filter for our main studio.

The pandemic has been a very difficult 2+ years for everyone. While we are eager to get back to moving in a communal space with other fellow humans, many of us are arriving nervous, sensitive and out of social practice. We are going to make mistakes and unintentionally ruffle feathers. Please be patient, compassionate and kind with us and your fellow participants as we work through this transition, so that we can all have a positive and empowering movement experience in our reopened space.
