At SOUL FUEL we have 10 different fitness, yoga and dance fit classes below. On weekends we offer special workshops (i.e. Pound drum fit, Nidra Yoga, Fuel Kickboxing, Hip-hop etc) to provide even more variety and learning opportunities. All classes are included for Members or can be used with punchcards.
Our instructors will give modifications for every exercise, so that you can adjust to where you’re at on any given day. Our baseline: You should be able to smile and laugh at any point in your workout! If things get too serious, pull it back.
- FUEL classes are generally higher impact and have the option to add plyometric movement.
- SOUL classes are generally slower and lower impact, but may still be very challenging.
Easy breezy, all levels.
No impact (i.e. jumping). But options to go easier or harder.
Most challenging, instructor will cater to the room, but not designed for the novice.
Our traditional bootcamp style class with more cheer and less whistle! This is a full-body workout designed to improve cardiovascular health and muscle endurance. You may sneak into HIIT territory and always have the option to add heavier weights for difficulty. Count on a terrific workout that will fill your lungs, heart and soul with the fuel you need. To keep you moving through bootcampy exercises, you can expect party tunes for optional singing through the circuits! Level 3-4.
Bar none, this might be the best barre-based workout around! Inspired by ballet, infused with functional fitness exercises, and truly cardio-filled - anyone can enjoy this barre class. Using a prop (chair at home, EQ in studio) for a barre, alongside optional light weights, this class can be done in socks or bare feet. You’ll barre-ly know you’re working out, whilst you pump up the jam to high-energy dance and 90s hip-hop tunes! We guarantee a rave level sweat and you miiiight also feel a bit like a dancer 🙂 Level 2-3.
Fuelled by a vinyasa style yoga, this class will provide mobility, strength training and self-induced heat. By building and stringing postures together in a marriage of breath and movement, we will create a feel-good yoga ‘flow’. There will be creativity, variety and lots of modifications/options to allow beginners and pros to experience the full flow benefits and joy! You can expect a mix of chill beats and soul to musically move you through this class. Level 2.
This is a super power cardio class! You can work to your own beat – optimal heartbeat that is. While we will always provide modifications, this class is not designed for the beginner or returner, this is our hardest fitness class. The goal is to get into your anaerobic threshold, that magic zone for burning, progress and challenge. The first 30-minute HIIT portion will focus on shorter – and tougher! – interval style exercises. The last 15-minutes will focus on core-rocking abdominal + glute exercises. Level 3-4.
This class offers a sweet slow buuurn; this our Pilates style mat class. No-impact muscle endurance training for a full-body workout using body weight, light weights and small equipment pieces (gliders, bands and light weights). Think more repetition, tempo variation, lots of focus on core and supporting muscles + super fab power ballads to keep you moving and grooving through the beautiful burn. A larger portion of this class will be devoted to stretching, as none of us stretch enough and it does a body good. Level 2.
We turn the studio into a fitness playground for your workout pleasure! TRX, barbells, Bosus, mini trampoline, EQ bars, kettle bells, and any other fixings we see fit to throw into the circuit mix. You will move around the room, rocking out each station at your own pace and level, with the help of an expert trainer working the small group room. Count on variety, hearty sweats, muscle pumping, collective energy and an outstanding workout! Level 1 - 4
You wanna be Badass Strong? Yeah you do. Grab the heaviest weights you have/can and give your strength a hearty lift with this weights-focused class. Designed specifically for all levels in mind, you can do this class to solidify form or to push past your current. By lifting heavier weights at lower reps (10-15), you will increase muscle, joint and bone density, change your body composite, and effectively boost your metabolism. BAM! Plus, you’ll be able to open any jar in the house. No, you won't bulk up. Level 2-3.
Easy-to-follow, high-energy, stylized, dance fitness workouts that will get you sweating, laughing, and grooving to your favourite pop hits. FITPOP is where misfits, renegades, and super-stars alike, all meet to dance for Fitness, Freedom & Fun! If you love Zumba you will love this class too! No dance experience required. Level 2-3.
Looking to crank up your strength training with an expert coach who knows their stuff? We thought so. This is our more advanced weight training program, reserved for only 5 participants.
Focusing on the BIG weight lifting exercises (Squats, Deadlifts, Bench press, Barbell Row, Overhead Press), we will work with Olympic barbells/plates, weight bench, and heavier dumbbells. We also have chin up bars, heavier kettle bells & TRX to add some strength sizzle!
This 6-week session of classes is designed for the fitness participant with a training base who is looking for more 1:1 attention to form, safe spotting, and motivation to lift heavier.
